One can have relaxed day at the beach without disturbance

The boardwalk is clean and calm. 2-3 pubs are quite popular here and I can see these pubs are crowded even on a weekday. Both ends of the boardwalk have old building and architecture of the building is quite amazing. Beach is too not crowded much

Great classic boardwalk atmosphere with some classic architecture at the convention center.

Worth a visit.

This beach is not quite popular like point pleasant but less crowd is itself a bliss, isn't it?

Diverse dining choices ranging in price from moderate to pricier and plenty of places to grab your favorite adult libations.

Beautiful beach and plenty of municipal parking that is free at certain dates/times.

“not very popular... quite...calm... less crowded...”

I love Asbury Park! It is an entire town that is rising from the ashes. Awesome architecture that was allowed to fall onto disrepair is now being rebuilt. This place needs to be considered to be what it is... a treasure. Needs a make over. Boardwalk is nicely maintained. No beach town has architecture or history like Asbury! Rock and Roll royalty played here, and the Stone Pony keeps that tradition alive. Needs more and various businesses need to open here. North beach needs shops and a can of paint or two! Worth checking out, and investing in!

A historic convention hall on the boardwalk. Many events took place here years ago. It went through a down period, but is now back in full swing with many shows. There are shops surrounding it. It's right on the beach. There are two concert venues right next to it also, The Wonder Bar, and McCloons. The Stone Pony is across the street and down two blocks. Very busy in the summer months. Parking isn't good though. There is metered parking, and more times then not, you'll find yourself driving around looking for a parking spot. Don't let that stop you. It's worth going to. I believe the town may be constructing a parking garage, but not totally sure...

This city has seen its ups and downs and it looks like it's going upward slowly and steadily. There's never more of a prime example of this than the status of this complex and what they're bringing in for events. It is interesting to see the talent that comes through here and the redevelopment of this building during its continual restoration phase. At the same stroke it is cool how they are maintaining as much of the old appeal as possible.
