I don't know what it is that keeps us coming back to this noisy, usually crowded hole in the wall dive. Maybe it's the great BS burgers, the one of a kind onion rings or the fact that we can eat here, have a few drinks and still have money left to feed the parking meters. This place is not for everyone but if you like the opposite of pretentious, upscale places and the vermin you'd have to share oxygen with then this is probably the best bar in Asbury Park .BTW, I think this place is cash only.
Staff is awesome. I prefer the original bar petsonally. Food is great, and drink prices are more than reasonable for what you get. Tip your bartenders. Dave is the man, Stan is the man.
Always the best grub in town! Lou never disappoints! Cold beers are also just as delicious! My husband and I love to go here for a quick low key casual " date night " love u BOND STREET! GFY!
Nice place. We drove up for the poetry event but it was cancelled. Everyone was very nice. Ate at the Capitoline. Menu was a bit limited but the food was good. I had a salad and my date had the meatball parm. This place is kid friendly but no kids menu. Very large portions and the prices are reasonable. People were there with infants in strollers and their were school age kids. Music is nice - Old school R&B but not too loud.

I found this back in the day when it was not listed on Google and they hardly had a sign outside and I discovered amazing food! I highly recommend their sweet potato fries and their burgers are delicious! This is a great place to go anytime of the day especially during the evenings on busy nights as the crowd is eclectically cool. I highly recommend this joint!
